Ending 2009 Standing!
Marvin Sapp sings a song that says, "Never would have made it without you, I would have lost it all, but now I see how you was there for me." Someone asked me recently if I ever felt like giving up, and to their surprise I said, "everyday." But God's mercy, grace, faithfulness, love for me, and love for his people have kept me going when I thought I simply didn't have the strength to continue. Much of what God has done in my life, He has done through his people; so simply put, I want you to know that I never would have made it without you. With the spiritual attacks Stand for Truth faces each day, I could have lost it all; my family, my ministry, and possibly, my mind. But looking back, as the song writer sings, I now can say, I'm stronger, wiser, and so much better! God has tremendously blessed us to know you, be encouraged by you, and to be a blessing to you. Through Stand for Truth Ministries thousands of men, women, and children have been encouraged, empowered, and equipped to stand for the historical Christian faith, grow in their relationship with God, and lovingly and Biblically engage this culture for Christ. One person shared with me how blessed she was to see her sister give her life to Christ after having her heart challenged and questions answered through our ministry. It is so encouraging to us to receive so many wonderful testimonies like this. Truly another reason to give thanks this holiday season.
