About Shawn

Godly values were instilled in Shawn as long as he can remember. “I was always taught to do what was right, simply because it was right; And to trust in God, because His way is the best way.”

Shawn received Christ in his life at the age of 13 and began to pursue the desire God gave him for ministry.  Shawn served as Teacher, Deacon and eventually Youth Pastor of Fremont Bible Fellowship in Fremont California.

He graduated from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary with a Diploma in Christian Ministry in 1996 and worked as the Announcer and as a guest host for KFAX 1100AM Radio Talk Show “Contending for the Faith” with Dr. Jerry L. Buckner.

Shawn is a graduate from Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, NC, where he studied Systematic Theology, Apologetics and Philosophy. In 2005, Shawn and his wife, Sadora, founded Stand For Truth Ministries, a ministry dedicated to equipping believers to defend the historic Christian faith. Shawn and Sadora are also the founders of the California Christian Apologetics Conference, a yearly conference committed to training believers to engage the culture for Christ.
